Schema Markup

Postby grey101 » Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:20 pm Supported Until: Sun Jul 29 21:04:03 +1000 2018

Hello. Is schema markup automatic, or do I have to manually add it for listings, even when enabled? I have it enabled for my listing plans, but I don't notice the information organized in the Google search results.

1. On another topic, I saw this question [below] posted on your Envato page, and I was wondering if you could help me with the same, please:

"Perhaps I was not clear, but I want to be the only one to add listings. I don’t want business owners to add them. I know this is not common, but I prefer to do it manually, the old fashioned way. And regarding the author info on the sidebar, I do want to display the contact info, address and phone, but I don’t want to show who the author is. Instead, I want to show the logo of the business. Like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k8ueekvoak1fi ... 7.png?dl=0"

Originally, I thought that's how it would look on the sidebar. I think persons would be more interested in seeing the company as an 'author', rather than an actual person.

2. Also, could you please help me to add the email field to the rest of the listing contact information in the author's bar [location, phone, website]?

Many thanks, in advance!

Hello there.

Could you also apply the change described in No. 2 to my site? I have recently emailed you my login details regarding a separate issue. ( From Thoriso Maredi) I can send them again if you wish.

And also, If possible, Can you remove the Author part of the sidebar widget? I want to keep all the other information- just remove the author and follows part.

If you can provide the CSS code to achieve this, that'd be great. I'll just copy and paste

Hi @thoriso_
Please try this way: From the admin sidebar, click on Appearance -> Theme Options -> Advanced Settings -> Custom CSS

.widget_author__header, .account-subscribe{
display: none !important;
}

If you are using a cache plugin, please flush the cache
Thanks
